FIRST In a small Dutch oven, stir together pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, bourbon, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to mediumlow; simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, 3 to 4 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before using.
