Rum Sauce
 
 
Serves: 2½ cups
Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons cane syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly before using.
